AW Woodwinds – your partner for high-quality clarinet and saxophone accessories. Since our founding in 2000, we have been setting new standards in the manufacture of reeds and mouthpieces.

AW Woodwinds, founded by Alexander Willscher, Hermann Uhl, and Prof. Martin Spangenberg, is a manufacturer of reeds, mouthpieces, and accessories for clarinets and saxophones. Excellent cane wood combined with a sophisticated CNC manufacturing process results in reeds with lively elasticity, beautiful sound, and excellent response for a compelling playing experience.

Our mouthpieces are made from high-performance polymer using a pressureless casting process. The resulting surface structure gives the mouthpiece exceptional sound characteristics. Precise, CNC-milled path.

Mouthpieces and reeds by Jens Willenberg have quickly earned an excellent reputation in the clarinet world. On the market since 2020, they are played by many musicians, for example in many major German opera, radio, and symphony orchestras. We work closely with professors and principal clarinetists from leading orchestras.

For many years, our products have stood for the highest quality “Made in Germany.” AW Woodwinds stands for high-quality mouthpieces, reeds, and accessories for clarinet and saxophone—precisely manufactured, Made in Germany.
